At Fall River Manufacturing Company, our goal for Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management for our customers is to supply products at a reduced cost, allow for flexibility in their market place, a reduction of inventory at their facility and a smaller supplier base.
Reduced Cost
Fall River has the capacity to engineer and build a manufacturing process that will reduce the cycle time and assure that product is made to customer specifications and standards. By implementing state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment with the latest in technology and best practices in machining, we can and have reduced the unit cost of our customers products.
Flexibility
Fall River Manufacturing Company affords it's customers flexibility by providing little or no lead times during production runs. As requirements and market demands change, Fall River is a dependable partner with a variety of solutions. Our in-house tool room facility allows for little or no tooling costs for basic manufacturing processes.
Reduction In Inventory
We have a strong financial structure that enables us to build and maintain inventory for our customers. Many of our customers utilize a Kan Ban or JIT system, and we have significantly reduced their on-site inventory. Fall River has a Parts Stocking Program that enables our customers to get the right part, at the right time.
Smaller Supplier Base
At Fall River Manufacturing, we have the ability to engineer, source, and manufacture a part or family of parts. This Tier One, Tier Two and Component strategy makes it possible for our customers to eliminate multiple vendors for one or more parts. Our size and financial strength gives us access to enter into long term partnerships and single sourcing agreements.
